"virtual" live references for our collective drawing sessions <3

In 2024 I started this series on YouTube called “Draw with me”. It started with a single video where I tried to answer to my own request for an “art-themed-study-with-me” video. I’ve always loved the sound of pencils and pens on paper and flipping of pages, it made me feel immersed in a different space, with company, even when, in fact, I was home alone. I really wanted to provide an art buddy with whom we could spend time, immersed in the sounds (and quiet) of art creation. That first video was very well welcomed, and that was the start of the series.

Now the “Draw with me” series has grown to 15 videos, the latest of which, came out earlier this week!

For 2026 I wanted to do something different and introduce an extra element to make it more engaging and moreover to make us feel like we really are drawing together! So, for 2026, I’m bringing (virtual) live references for us to use in our collective drawing sessions :)

The first reference of 2026, is this little vase decorated in celestial/whimsigothic imagery:
